Posture Correction

Personalized sessions to identify and correct the postural imbalances causing your pain

What Does Posture Have to do with Pain?

Most people don't realize that nearly all muscular pain is caused by imbalance. When certain muscles are overloaded and others are neglected, your body gets pulled out of its natural alignment. Since your muscles are responsible for positioning your bones, even small imbalances can create big problems over time.

These imbalances create instability throughout the body, and instability, left unaddressed, leads to dysfunction. Dysfunction, as most of us know too well, leads to pain.

So what's the solution? We use a unique assessment process to identify exactly where these imbalances exist, then work to correct them at the source. The result is a body that moves the way it was designed to.

Most clients walk out of their first session feeling noticeably lighter, and there's a real reason for that. When your body is in proper alignment, more muscles are able to activate and share the load of moving you through space. Less compensation, less effort, less tension. Just easier, more natural movement. That feeling of lightness isn't just relief. It's your body finally working the way it should.

Before: Unbalanced

  • Spine: Twisted, "C" shaped, and uneven.
  • Head: Shifted off-center to the right.

Root Patterns

Many individual postural issues are actually part of a larger pattern. Here are some of the most common ones we see in our clinic. Recognizing the pattern is the first step toward a lasting fix

Upper Crossed Syndrome

Forward head posture, rounded shoulders, and kyphosis working together as a chain reaction from the mid-back up.

Forward Head Posture Scapular Protraction Kyphosis

Lower Crossed Syndrome

Anterior pelvic tilt, lordosis, and tight hip flexors. The pelvis tilts, and everything above and below compensates.

Anterior Pelvic Tilt Lordosis

Layer Syndrome

A deeper pattern of chronic postural dysfunction where tight and weak muscles alternate in layers up the posterior chain: tight upper traps, weak mid-back, tight lower back, weak glutes, tight hamstrings.

Kyphosis Anterior Pelvic Tilt Forward Head Posture

Pronation Distortion Syndrome

Flat feet, knock knees, and internal hip rotation. The arches collapse, and the chain reaction travels upward through the knees and hips.

Overpronation Knee Valgus
